I was amazed when looking at this photo of the start of the 1968 GP at Watkins Glen, that the drivers of the McLaren's, (Denny Hulme, Dan Gurney & Bruce), aren't wearing Seat Belts !!!

Quite extraordinary really, even for that time ??
