Originally designed and built by Kim Axton, for Dave Smith of Tri-State Enterprises and situated upstairs in Seven Hills in the Main shopping area near the local railway station, it featured Wide Lane-Spacing and Eliptical Routing, providing very smooth transitions into and out of the corners, with excellently designed 'Banking', the track was truly a 'Speed Bowl' but because of the style of cars run 'in the day' along with the Mura & Champion 'C' can style motors still mean't it was a Challenge to negotiate at the subsequent 'Ballistic' speeds

I note that writing on the Photo, suggests 5" Lane Spacing !!
The track had fantastic Battery Power and allowed a great choice in Armature winds to be run.
This was also the track Mark Fox originally built his 'Ice Cream Cone' chassis for and along with a variety of Hand-Wound Steube armatures, was virtually unbeatable

The track was eventually sold to and run by another extremely fast and capable local (State and National champion), racer, Charlie Frost and provided a great addition to the rather Healthy and varied Local scene we were fortunate to still have at the time.
