Hi All
The 6th Round of the HSC 2017 Retro Series was held on Saturday 8th July on the Big Track.
The race was for Coupes and F1 and attracted 11 for the Coupes and 8 for the F1
Coupes
Race 1
Cars and Racers L-R
Gregg E, Casey, Gregg T, Kevin, Matthew and Stevo
Totally dominated by Matthew who races everything from Womps up on this track and has a lot of form on this track. Casey held down 2nd all the way over Gregg T.
Good run by newbie (well not really new but newly racing again) Kevin who drove a good race and was followed by Stevo and then another newbie (see previous disclaimer) Greg. Welcome to the fray (as opposed to affray gents).
Cars below in winning order and top shots in 2nd, 1st and 3rd (L-R)
Race 2
Cars and Racers L-R
Joe, Brad, Darryl, Mark and Neil
All the way win for me with Darryl in hot pursuit whilst Brad and Joe mixed it up for 3rd with Brad prevailing.
Cars below in winning order and top shots in 2nd, 1st and 3rd (L-R)
The Wrap
Well as I said Matt came home hard (pink highlight award for best lap and fastest laps on 6 lanes) followed by me then Casey.
F1
Race 1
Cars and Racers L-R
Brad, Gregg T, Stevo and Matthew.
Well Matt again but with Brad giving a good run for the money followed by Gregg T. Stevo bombed out early which is a shame.
Cars below in winning order and top shots in 2nd, 1st and 3rd (L-R)
Matthew, Brad and Gregg T.

Race 2
Cars and Racers L-R
Joe, Darryl, Mark and Neil
Me closely followed by Joe closely followed by Darryl and then Neil who was having a run of outs on the right hand side of the drivers panel.
Cars below in winning order and top shots in 2nd, 1st and 3rd (L-R).
Mark, Joe and Darryl
The Wrap.
Matt again closely followed by Brad then Gregg T. The 1st race was the gun race with 2nd race providing the 4th spot as the best position in the wrap.
Again Matthew got the pink and 6 of the best lap times with Brad keeping him honest – then a bit of daylight.
Well that it until the next round on the Short Track (not forgetting the 4 hour Enduro and the SRC Round at Luddenham).

Hi gang,
Once again thanks Mark. Your reports are always anticipated.
I think the BT chassis is Brad speak for his new Back Track chassis jig. It will be his first jig built chassis, so look out.
Neil
