Round 7 of the 2015 KW 27L series saw lots of big numbers on the recently updated KW Blue King. As a lot of you would be aware,Stuart Bach has made some more mods to the track and the improvement in performance has been huge.
Three races this week and 3 new lap total records.
On Wednesday Russell Gale pumped up the W12 record.
Today Timmy Tyler and Stuart Bach beat the 27L and OMO/2MO records.

Everybody cracked 500 laps for the first time. But Tim had us all covered with 599,surpassing the old record by 7 laps.
In 2MO,Rick had the pace in qualifying,just missing running a "1".
In the race,things came down to a battle between Rick,Russell and Stuart.
Stuart had the reliability and speed to get there first,upping the lap total record from 813 to 818 in the process.

I have to thank Judy though,for letting Bruce borrow the car. He kindly acted as my taxi driver today,and only charged me $75 !
He also stole me "Knee Cruizer" (gimpy bike
) and sold it to a chop shop in Footscray for 50 bucks!!Heres the proof:

Anyway,apart from a bit of profiteering and general theft,it was another great day of racing at the ever evolving King Willys.
As racers come to grips with the track improvements,I'm sure more records will tumble.
Next round is Oct 17.
