Hey Stoo thanks for the answers If I am reading it right my original suspision might have been right. The braid may have been broken at the corners and then wired through the wheel into groups of straight, left corner & right corner so if you hit the corner and dont turn then the car would stop ...

Yep Plucka I was pretty beat by the time it was all over

I am probably grinning at the first turn crash because I managed to sneak past on black and get a bit of a break while the rest of the field was being tidied up (Thanks Stoo)

How did your party go? is the track running now?
