Re: NATS 2016 rules
Thanks Geoff,
I have never seen those rules and have only vaguely heard them mentioned from time to time and was under the impression the track owner could choose to ignore them should they wish to.
Do you recall the reasons as to why it gets put in the “too hard” box each time? Is it the fact ...

Re: NATS 2016 rules
So I feel this is a rather pointless argument.
This debate is over a rule that we can all agree does not exist in a national level as from what I can see there is no national rule book or rule guidelines to adhere to.
After being actively involved in other forms of motorsport on a participant and ...

Re: NATS 2016
Mick,
You can use Bearings in both ends of the motor as written in the rules in both GTP12 and Wing 12
"Notching for axle clearance. Removal of paint to facilitate soldering Oilite hole may be centred. A small hole may be drilled in each side of the can to aid in the gluing of magnets (2mm max ...

Re: 2015 Queensland Race of Champions
Well done to Roundy for taking out the Queensland Series.
Great to see so many names on the list this year. 36 racers across the three tracks is a great effort. Hope to see a few more travelling next year.

Re: wing 12 rule change
I agree with Adrian on making it similar to 27L rules.
Lindsay, you say that the cars will be doing 2.1's with 'development.' I assume you mean development in track setup and ability to set your cars up for the track. If this is the case, how is this putting more load on the motors? You are ...

Re: wing 12 rule change
Wayne,
I have only been racing for the last 3 years and on a national level over the last 12 months. I will focus on the Wing 12 class as it seems all your guys care more about wing cars over sedans. For what the track owners are pushing as the entry level Wing class it is a stupid idea. I have six ...

Re: What to expect at the Brock
Thanks for a great weekend Geoff.
For my first weekend away racing slot cars instead of drag cars, I had a blast.
It was good to meet everyone down there and see some great racing.
Would be good to see one or two faces come north for another great weekend of racing later this year!
