Re: HSC's Big Plafit Bash. Report and pics
This was a great weekend! I think everybody had a great time in 1/24th Can-am, 1/32 GT. I personally had the most fun in the 2 hour Group C race! Although I do remember that somebody didn't have so much fun as the were upset with the racing, pulled out their controller and stormed out the door! But ...

Re: Plafit SLP-2 chassis
Hi Stoo,
Yes. I assembled the chassis myself, with a bit of help from the internet: http://picasaweb.google.com/ScaleRacing ... 2GRPCBUILD#
It's not a CF body I'll be mounting just a plastic Lamborghini Mucielago.
I'll bring it up to the race in March complete.

Plafit SLP-2 chassis
Hi Guys, Well I've recently aquired an SLP-2. I haven't mounted a body on it yet, but compared to out 1700G kits, it's nothing special. The car weight is approx. 150g, without a body! It's got all the parts they use in Europe, Scale Auto wheels, JP gears, fancy bearings, although it's got a Fox II ...

SLP-1
Hi Garry,
I don't know where you and Werner have looked for these chassis, but I know for a matter of fact they are available. Infact I ordered one yesterday. Bugger! So is there any chance of getting the rules changed back?

I think you're right
I think you're right about it staying in the box, because that's way to complicated for me. But thanks anyway.

Subframe Adjuster?
Hello everyone, Could somebody please tell me what the 'Subframe Adjuster' does to the Plafit 1700 chassis and where it goes? Pictures would be great if it's not too much trouble. Here's a link to it on the Ace Hobbies website. http://acehobbies.com.au/store/product_info.php?cPath=25_28_85&products ...

Re: PEC
Hi James,
Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that you guys won't be holding the PEC in 2010 because I was really looking forward to it, but I'm sure that Geoff and I will be up for the Enduro that weekend.

Nobody knows.
Hey Geoff, it's just like the APC. All planed out years in advance, but when there's a question, nobody knows the answer! Scale car racing would be 10 times better if there was just a bit of leadership involved. Only if Werner and Jan spoke more about the really important topics and less about their ...

The 2009 APC.
Hello fellow Model Car Racers. Even though I'm two weeks late, I would like to give my feedback from the 2009 APC which was held at Mobile Raceways. I had a great weekend of racing and just general mixing with everyone. Although after a bit of discussion with some other racers, we were a bit ...

Re: Don't be jealous...
Haha. Never thought it would be such a big topic.
I thought this might give Racer X and Rob a bit of motivation to do a even better job than usual. Although I still have full confidence in winning all of the races, but you never know, I might let somebody else win one or two.
See you at the race.
