'Oh dear, how sad to hear this news about one of the truly Nice & well loved guys of our sport / hobby !!
John apparently passed away early on the morning of December 1st.

I spent many of my early Slot cars years reading about him and his exploits in the heyday of US Pro' slot car racing, along with guys like Mike Steube, Howie Ursaner, John Gorski, Jerry Brady, Mike Morrissey, Bob Emott and many others and was great to see him become active once again in more recent times racing Retro's like many of us older locals.

Perhaps sadly, I never met him, but had communicated with him & Oscar Morales a few times via SlotBlog.
